House Impetus – We have a whole house meeting this Monday, September 30 during student choice. We will unveil the next Students of the Month! This meeting is mandatory for all house members, but it is also an exciting time to celebrate all the wonderful things members of our house achieve throughout the year. See you there!

Speeches will be reviewed and then delivered on the beach trip. Aiden Smith and Christian Williams demonstrated PASSION by sharing their perspectivse on how to make the most out of high school with the Class of 2017 during Monday’s Student Life Block!

The Justice League….Are you looking for something to do this weekend? The 19th annual Festival of India is taking place in uptown Charlotte. The goal of the Festival of India is to expose people to the rich mosaic of different art, crafts, languages, couture, and cuisine from the various regions of India. The 19th Annual Festival of India takes place at the Belk Theater, 130 North Tryon Street on Saturday 9/14 and Sunday 9/15  (12:00pm to 7:00 pm)

This week the History Department sponsored a three day lunchtime screening and discussion of the film 9/11. We will  continue in the movie room today.

Tennis Club: This Friday, the 13th, make sure you stop by to see Kate Beckman during lunch or during Student Choice in the hall outside Foundation Hall and let tennis club know who your partner will be for this years tennis tournament! Only rule: No two competitive tennis players may be partners.Thanks to everyone who signed up at the club fair and all those who forgot, don’t worry come on Friday with your partner and we will add you into the bracket no problem, including teachers and staff!!!!  And do not forget, it is perfectly fine if you have never even touched a racquet before, it still bunches of fun!
