Aiden Smith and Christian Williams demonstrated PASSION by sharing their perspectivse on how to make the most out of high school with the Class of 2017 during Monday’s Student Life Block!

Jessica Abel , Harrison Barone, Joanna Copio, Logan Foster, Collen Hurley,  Jailin Johnson,  and  Kristin Russell showed PASSION when they shared their Outward Bound wisdom with 10th grade parents & advisories!

Dina Fahmey and Meghan Hendry demonstrated PASSION by attending a voluntary review session to prepare for a test.

Patrick Hunter, Anthony Perrino, Erdogan Peer, Troy Terveer and Stephen Nymberg demonstrated KINDNESS when he agreed to help a student carry items to Ms. Stavrakas’s room.

Katherine LeClair showed KINDNESS to at teacher when she thanked them for a Freshmen Seminar presentation.

Mimi Wahid showed KINDNESS and RESPECT to the speaker during Freshmen Seminar.

CAMO Cannon tshirts will be sold for 10 dollars in front of foundation hall Thursday (9/12) and Friday (9/13).

9th & 10th Graders: Are you interested in becoming a leader? “The Lazar School Builds Leaders”: There will be a representative from Lazar School here Friday during Student Choice in the US Library Annex Alzar School is a semester long opportunity for experiential learning. The Justice League….Are you looking for something to do this weekend? The 19th annual Festival of India is taking place in uptown Charlotte. The goal of the Festival of India is to expose people to the rich mosaic of different art, crafts, languages, couture, and cuisine from the various regions of India. The 19th Annual Festival of India takes place at the Belk Theater, 130 North Tryon Street on Saturday 9/14 and Sunday 9/15  (12:00pm to 7:00 pm)

This week the History Department sponsored a three day lunchtime screening and discussion of the film 9/11. We will  continue in the movie room today.

Tennis Club: This Friday, the 13th, make sure you stop by to see Kate Beckman during lunch or during Student Choice in the hall outside Foundation Hall and let tennis club know who your partner will be for this years tennis tournament! Only rule: No two competitive tennis players may be partners.Thanks to everyone who signed up at the club fair and all those who forgot, don’t worry come on Friday with your partner and we will add you into the bracket no problem, including teachers and staff!!!!  And do not forget, it is perfectly fine if you have never even touched a racquet before, it still bunches of fun! 

SOPHOMORES: Are you ready for Outward Bound? We hope you are breaking your boots in! Wear your hiking boots any day between now and next week & earn house points! We will visit advisories one day this week and the advisories that have the most number of boot wearers will compete for house points.
