Want to help an Artist? We need one or more students to sign up for Monday, 10.21, C-Block and A-Block (if you have drop) to model for our figure drawing unit. We will also need student models for Thursday and Friday 10.24 & 10.25 both A-block and C-blocks.  You will be asked to pose for brief intervals, (think more active poses) and then perhaps longer seated or reclined poses.  Please if you are interested check your drop periods and sign up by emailing barmstrong@cannonschool.org  Who knows you may become the next Mona Lisa…

Core Values:

Mr. Andy  MacDonald demonstrated PASSION and KINDNESS by volunteering to guest lecture in two  English II classes yesterday. He helped students understand more about acting and blocking in preparation for their Merchant of Venice final projects

Nicole Voulgaropoulos demonstrated TEAMWORK when she happily drove several cheerleaders to the gym Tuesday.

Alex Leck showed KINDNESS when he gave his seat to let another student sit during class. Alex moved all of his things to the back seat all by himself and sat there without even hesitating. This was a great display of Kindness.

With both COURAGE and TEAMWORK, Angela Poffenbaugh, Jesse Ojanen, Iliana Ragnone, and Nick Rossitch shared how they conducted their college search with the parents of the Junior Class at an evening program.  You were all amazing!

 The construction for the new Performing Arts Center is coming along nicely.  The foundational beams have been delivered and will soon be erected.  Before that, we would like all students, faculty and staff to have an opportunity to sign one beam.

James Sirois and Ben Szilagyi demonstrated PASSION at the football game this past Friday night.  Many of the students left at halftime because it was cold, these two boys stepped up (in their USA themed tutus) and led the crowd.  Way to go GRRR!!!!
