Do you like winning easy money? Well you’re in luck! The Class of 2014 Senior Gift Committee is holding an Upper School 50/50 raffle from November 4th to November 15th. Tickets are just 1 for $1, 4 for 3$, or 10 for 5$! Tickets will be sold outside of foundation hall everyday during the week during lunch. Proceeds will go to a Cannon School Cougar inflatable sports tunnel (seen below) that will be used at outdoor athletic events! Dressler’s Restaurant has agreed to donate 10% of it’s profit Tonight October 30th to the Make a Wish Foundation in honor of Daniela and Vanessa’s Capstone. We are working to raise $6,000 dollars to grant the wish of a child with a life-threatening disease through the Make a Wish Foundation. Every dollar counts so please try to attend! October 30th is the night before House Games, so there will most likely not be any homework! It is the perfect date night or family dinner night! Tennis Club has been postponed until Wednesday the 23rd. Please join us in respectfully (and enthusiastically!) cheering on our girls varsity tennis and boys varsity soccer teams this weekend as they begin their pursuit of a state championship with home matches!Girls varsity tennis will play North Raleigh Christian Academy on Friday October 18 at 3:30 pm on the Cannon tennis courts.

Boys varsity soccer will play Charlotte Christian at 1:00 pm on Saturday afternoon on the Tysinger Family Stadium Field.

Please be advised that, as per NCISAA regulations, admission is $7 per adult, $5 per NCISAA student, and free for children 8 years and younger.  This includes all spectators including Cannon community parents and students, as well as Cougar Club members.  Our girls and boys are worth the price of admission! J

If you are really feeling adventurous, our girls varsity golf team will be defending their state championship on Monday October 21 at Pine Needles golf course in Pinehurst, NC.  The ladies will be teeing off around 8:00 am that morning.
