Caroline Schauder, Erin Mason, Kendall Thomas and Mackenzie O’brien demonstrated PASSSION for service with the Admission Office by signing up for Student Ambassadors and completing the Admission Office Student Ambassador Questionnaire (which is required to be an active ambassador for 2013- 2014).The Admission Office would like to recognize and commend them for their dedication to the mission of helping our office as we work with potential student applicants, families, and the greater community to share information about Cannon School.

Are you looking for something to do this weekend? The 38th annual UNC Charlotte International Festival is this Saturday, September 28th from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at the Barnhardt Student Activities Center on the UNC Charlotte campus. The festival showcases the cultures of over 50 nations.  Visitors to the festival will see art, crafts, costumes, and foods unique to each participating country.  The festival is free!

We have a lower school family who is new to the area and looking for an upper school student or students who might be interested in babysitting.  Looking for someone who can drive and who lives near Mooresville, Davidson or Cornelius.  If interested, please email Mrs. Pinto @ jpinto@cannonschool.org.

There will be a meeting of all students who are interested in swimming for Cannon this winter  Today September 25 at 11:15 am in Foundation Hall. 

Varsity Softball Workouts will begin this week. We have scheduled these for Wednesdays and Thursdays for the next few weeks. If you are interested in working out for the upcoming season, please be at the field by 3:30. Workouts will begin at 3:40 and should end around 5 – 5:15. Players will need to wear long softball / baseball style pants. Wear cleats if you have them. Workouts will revolve around conditioning and fundamentals. Hope to see everyone there!

SCAD Rep will be in Foundation Hall on Thursday during A-block, B-block and F-block.

  Catie Kuralt (2017) is forming a team for “Light the Night Walk” on Saturday, November 2nd at Romare Bearden Park in Charlotte, NC.  “Light the Night Walk” is The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s evening walk and fundraising event.  Please email Catie (ckuralt@cannonschool.org) or visit http://pages.lightthenight.org/nc/Charlnc13/WeAreFamily if you are interested in participating.
