A quick reminder that we started collecting items for Captain Robert Vendley (’07) yesterday! Here are a few quick reminders on what to bring in and what to do with your items:
The items we are collecting are as follows
K-cups (no decaf)
Dried Fruits
Nuts
Tuna Salad/ Chicken Salad (in the pouches)
Protein Bars
Mio
We will also be collecting money donations
Please keep all collected items in your advisory. We will come by and pick them up on May 16th.
The advisory who brings in the most items gets free breakfast of their choice

Club is hosting a Kona Ice Event Friday during lunch in the Quad.  Enjoy delicious shaved ice for $3, $4, or $5 dollars.  Remember to bring cash or debit card on Friday. Proceeds benefit EMPOWER! Club.  EMPOWER! Club is a chapter of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), a national student organization to promote healthy choices and decision making. Prom Promise is a national event where high school students pledge to have a safe & sober prom. Juniors & Seniors who sign the Prom Promise Pledge will get a 50 cent off coupon!

Constantin Dornburg & Grace Griffin

Timmy Jones, Ben Bragg, James Sirois, Zach Ranson, Jake Diehl, Kenny Clarke, and Miller Ramsey came to school on Friday when we had no school and helped unload the truck and set the Stella Circus that supports Spay it forward. Thanks so much guys!

 Dalton Phillips, Jackson Welsh, Anna Edwards, Tamer Metwalli, Nick Parenica, and Jakob Diskin took time out of their Saturday and helped out Mr. Gossage and Spay it forward by cleaning trash for the circus that was on Cannon fields. Thanks everyone!

AP Students
– AP Pre-administration in Foundation Hall during lunch. If you are enrolled in an AP course you must attend a session. They will only be offered Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week.

 Cannon School will celebrate Earth Day with a dress-down day on Friday, April 22nd. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to wear appropriate jeans and shirts that are either green or have a green message such as: Celebrate Earth Day, Reduce/Reuse/Recycle, Eat Local, Clean Water, Protect the Earth. Please be sure messages are appropriate as per standard dress code.

Please consider being a part of Student Ambassador Network (“SAN”) 2016-2017!  All you have to do is complete a Student Ambassador Profile.  If you want to hold a leadership position, please complete the Student Ambassador Intern Application too.  It’s easy, log into Haiku and go to  Admission Office Student Ambassador Network Haiku Page   – everything you need to apply can be found there.  The application deadline is Monday, May 2. Garrett Compton showed KINDNESS when he helped a parent with the JV soccer teams gear.
