Camp Cannon is looking for several highly motivated students to work as Jr. Counselors both with our campers and in our administrative office.  You will get to help younger children learn things from art, robotics, science, sports and more or work in the office to help keep camp running smoothly.  Applicants need to be 16 years of age by June 10. 2018. This organization donates food to charities that provide food to people who cannot afford groceries or who lack transportation to stores. Achsah Koshy & Larken Lancaster

Cannon students recently exceeded all expectations to “go beyond”, showing PASSION, and received 11 awards from the National Chinese Essay Contest! Out of 12 entries from Cannon, there were 11 awards! Considering each school is limited to a maximum of 12 students to enter, Cannon did fantastic garnering 11 awards for the 12 participants in the National Chinese Essay Contest. Of our 12 students who participated, Cannon was awarded three Golds, three Silvers, and 5 Honorable Mentions. Peyton Skill, Alexander Varghese and Kate Frankenberg received Gold Awards; Sean Jenkins, Tommy Jones and Jordan Besh received Silver Awards; Elena Jacoby, Will Carey, Rohan Handa, Olivia Anderson and Maya Campbell received the Honorable Mention award. This is a wonderful accomplishment for all our students and Cannon school. Please ensure we recognize their efforts and applaud them for their achievements.

Lydia Pinto showed INTEGRITY when she shared that the answers to a quiz were on the board while students were taking the quiz.

Celine Ortiz and Mudi Tokunboh showed KINDNESS when they helped a classmate clean up some hot chocolate spilled by a classmate.

Andrea Moore showed INTEGRITY when she cleaned up a mess let in the hallways.

Drivers: Cannon will be hosting a NCAIS event on Wednesday 1/17.  We will have 80 guests on campus.  This will cause some parking adjustments for the day.  Seniors will be parking in Junior Parking, Juniors in Sophomore Parking, etc.  Apologies for any inconvenience.
