Summer Job Opportunity! Camp Cannon is looking for several highly motivated students to work as Jr. Counselors both with our campers and in our administrative office.  You will get to help younger children learn things from art, robotics, science, sports and more or work in the office to help keep camp running smoothly.  Applicants need to be 16 years of age by June 10. 2018. Cannon’s middle school service learning group for community gardening is seeking students who would like to volunteer at the Share The Harvest Garden of Concord on Saturdays and Wednesdays. This organization donates food to charities that provide food to people who cannot afford groceries or who lack transportation to stores. Are you interested in learning more about digital photography and what goes into creating a school yearbook? If so, come to the YEARBOOK INTEREST MEETING in Foundation Hall TODAY during Student Choice.  Dean Zelaya and some of the current yearbook staff will be there to talk about the yearbook class for students who may consider this as a course selection for next school year.

ATTENTION ANYBODY WHO LIKES TO DANCE!!! On FEBRUARY 5 during STUDENT CHOICE Cannon Dance Company will be hosting our first DANCE BATTLE!!!!! Students AND teachers will be competing head to head for not only the title of Cannon’s best dancer but a GRAND PRIZE!!!!!! You can freestyle or do a challenge and any of our Cannon dancers would be happy to mentor you!!! Halfway There is a special night to honor and celebrate our beloved class of 2018 and it is right around the corner on Saturday, Feb. 3rd! This year’s dance is a semi-formal winter ball with the theme “Light the Way.” We hope to have lots of surprises throughout the evening as we celebrate our seniors. Join DJ Phalse iD for a fabulous dance, great desserts, and a night of fun and entertainment!  Seniors will need to plan to arrive by 6:00pm while all others should arrive starting at 7:00pm. Tickets on sale today. Pre-order ticket sales officially end on Tuesday, January 30th because we have to have a final count for food. The tickets are $10 in advance from January 22nd-January 30th and $15 if you are late to purchase including buying tickets at the door. You may get tickets by responding to the Google form that will be sent to your Cannon email account. For your convenience, you may choose to bill your account for the cost of the ticket.

February 6th at 11:15: WorldStrides a study abroad program for high school students will have a representative on campus during lunch to share information for summer programs with students.  Please stop by the Private Dining Hall to learn more!
