Kate Booker and Nicky Thompson were COURAGEous in educating their peers on matters of sexual identity and orientation when it arose in class discussion.

***House Impetus and House Humanitas are teaming up for a HALLOWEEN DOOR DECORATING CONTEST! Everyone in your advisory will come together to create a fun and festive door decoration in the spirit of Halloween due by TODAY, October 28th. Our houses be voting for the best door NEXT THURSDAY. *STUDENTS,  TEACHERS, AND FACULTY, HOUSE ANIMUS IS COLLECTING CANDY FOR OUR TROOPS!! We are so excited to be teaming up with Operation Gratitude for the 3rd year in a row to collect Halloween candy to give back to those fighting for our country. We invite everyone in the upper school to participate so we get as much candy as possible. A bin is located under the Animus wall by the spiral staircase. OUR GOAL IS ABOVE THE GOLD LINE! Individually wrapped, fun- or bite-sized candy is ALL accepted. NO powdered candy, unwrapped, or homemade items. Chocolate is ok too!

***Second Harvest Food Bank is in need of volunteers.  See the information and links below for requirements and to sign up:

  • Most weekday volunteers shifts at the warehouse are for ages 17 and older.  If you are 17 or older, you can sign up to volunteer any day/time. 
  • Volunteers aged 13-16 permitted with an adult:  Thursday evening 6-8pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm or 1-3pm
  • Log into the calendar system linked below to register for a volunteer shift.

To log into the calendar system and see ALL available shifts and to schedule:

REMINDER: If you are a JUNIOR on campus come to The Cube for the Rep Visit. If you are Senior on Campus, either come to The Cube for the Rep Visit or email your College Counselor to reserve a private room to view the visit. Per school policy it is REQUIRED that your VIDEO is on during the Rep Visit.
