AP/AT Exam Registration will close THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30. If you haven’t already done so, you must indicate your exam decisions for each of your AP/AT courses by logging into your College Board account.

 Sign up for an academic coaching session (Room 606) during your DROP – time slots are available this week! Our Academic Coaching team (Mrs. Weakland, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Miller, Ms. Holston, Mrs. Calles, and Mrs. Smith) are ready to support YOU in the way YOU choose!  YOU decide date and time of appointment, frequency of appointments (3x is recommended!), and the content of appointment.

Cannon’s Scholastic Fundraising book fair is here!! You can join in the fair excitement, as Cannon has expanded its book offering to include young adult and adult best sellers. Cannon’s fall fundraising book fair Is Oct 26 to Nov 8th. Below is the link-

The Upper School Math department is excited to announce the official return of The Math Café.  Get one-on-one help from Cannon Math teachers during either of the times below.  The 2020 Grand Opening is Tuesday, Oct. 27

 Hours:

Tuesdays – Office Hours (12:30-1:30) – Foundation Hall

Wednesday – Before School (7:40-8:10) – Foundation Hall

 

   


Second Harvest Food Bank is in need of volunteers.  See the information and links below for requirements and to sign up:

  • Most weekday volunteers shifts at the warehouse are for ages 17 and older.  If you are 17 or older, you can sign up to volunteer any day/time. 
  • Volunteers aged 13-16 permitted with an adult:  Thursday evening 6-8pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm or 1-3pm
  • Log into the calendar system linked below to register for a volunteer shift.

To log into the calendar system and see ALL available shifts and to schedule: 

  1. Visit the website at https://www.secondharvestmetrolina.org/give-time/volunteer
  2. Click on the red box next to “Register to volunteer”
  3. You will then be in the online calendar system.
  4. Sign in using your email (user name) and your password
  5. If you have forgotten your password, please click on reset password or email nhagerman@secondharvest.org

 

Seniors & Juniors are invited to sign-up in SCOIR for Zoom meetings with College Admission Representatives. Sessions will be during lunch and office hours. Check SCOIR for the most up-to-date listing of college representative visits and click HERE for full registration directions. REMINDER: If you are a JUNIOR on campus come to The Cube for the Rep Visit. If you are Senior on Campus, either come to The Cube for the Rep Visit or email your College Counselor to reserve a private room to view the visit. Per school policy it is REQUIRED that your VIDEO is on during the Rep Visit.
