Message from Flik: Alright US students, the ball is in your court. Help us help you bring back a return to actual service and multiple options for your lunch choices.

We believe that we are just around the corner from being able to return to this, but we need you to show us that you can make the dining hall area as safe as possible

Over the next couple of weeks, please monitor how many people are in the service area, if there is over 20, then STAY OUT!!

What you can do to help this is grab your ore-order and any other items, head to the cashier and exit cafeteria as quickly as possible.  PLEASE DO NOT USE THE DINING HALL AS ANY AREA TO SOCIALIZE WITH YOUR FRIENDS

Also, if you are waiting in line to enter the cafeteria, please practice social distancing and maintain 6 feet apart while waiting

Finally, Place your pre-orders for now. We can not always guarantee we will have extra. Also pre-ordering moves lines quicker and helps with our production.

Help us with these simple tasks and service you prefer might just be around the corner

If you have any questions, please email me at cevans@cannonschool.org

Thank you to Bella Edmondson, Hayes Leatherman, Ali Dulin and Brennen Kelley for their PASSION and sharing their insights on academic and community engagement with the Class of 2024.

***Message from Flik: Alright US students, the ball is in your court.

***CANNON T&F PARTICIPATION DEADLINE:

Hello Everybody!

Happy Black History Month! Over the Summer, Alicia Equan and I (Roshni Desai) did a program called Girls Who Code where we learned the basics of coding. One of our assignments was to create a website that talks about a social issue we care about. We decided to talk about racial injustices however, over the course of the year we have edited our website so that it can be shared with the Cannon Community during Black History Month. During advisory, we would love for you to visit our website and learn more about black excellence in different professions. As well as the personal experiences of each interviewee. We will be adding a new page to the site each week of black history month so, make sure to check back on it!

If so, you’re exactly who Camp Cannon is looking for to be a part of camp this summer! Applications for new employees open on 1/29 and can be found HERE. We will be taking applications until all positions are filled.

All returning employees should inform Mr. Borowicz about their interest in working at Camp Cannon again this summer by 2/28. You can reach him at pborowicz@cannonschool.org.

Feel free to reach out to Mr. Jones (leejones@cannonschool.org) or Mr. B (pborowicz@cannonschool.org) for any questions about Camp Cannon.

House Integritas is hosting a GUESSING JAR activity. At the top of the spiral staircase, where all the house shelves and displays are, there are three jars filled with candy. One with Hersey Kisses, one with Reece’s Cups, and one with Air-Heads. At the end of this email, there is a link to a Google Form where you can submit your guesses. Whomever gets the answer right first (or the closest answer at the end of the contest) wins what’s inside the jar. You are free to look at each jar on their display, but please refrain from moving them from their place. This is to prevent the possibility of one being dropped and broken. The jars are glass and will, in fact, break. Also please do not open the jars to count what’s inside. That is lame and ruins the fun for everybody. Have fun and good luck. May the luckiest person win!

Camp Cannon Job Opportunity

***Are you looking for a summer job? Do you consider yourself flexible, good with kids, willing to take risks and/or a hard worker? Do you enjoy engaging with others in our Cannon community?
