Project Wrap-In is Coming on December 7th, 2015!

Each student is asked to bring in one new, unused gift ($5- $15) to store in homeroom the week of December 7. Students in grades 9th-12th may instead buy a gift for a young child of any age with their own gender in mind if they would like; however, keep in mind that children benefiting from this outreach opportunity may also be teens.) Additionally, students are asked to bring wrapping materials like wrapping paper, tape, ribbon, bows, etc.

Our hope for all students is:

  • Bring in one present ($5-$15).

    • Contribute wrapping paper and/or other wrapping supplies.
    • Bring a giving and positive attitude.
    •  Have fun!We are looking forward to making a difference in the lives of many children!

Then on Tuesdays during lunch bring your eats to Mr. Davis’ Music Tech room where Youtube, Spotify, and vintage vinyl will provide us with some great jazz to mellow out the middle of our day. All with open ears are welcome to come nosh and groove. See you there!

Congratulations to Renee LeClair for being cast as Clara in the Piedmont Dance Theater production of the Nutcracker and for being mentioned in the Salisbury Newspaper for your role.  Your PASSION for dance is amazing!

Congratulations to Catherine Livingston for earning the role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Piedmont Dance Theater production of The Nutcracker.  This is the first time the company has selected a youth artist to perform as the Sugar Plum Fairy.  Your PASSION for dance and continued  hard work is amazing!  Way to go Catherine!

Congratulations to Clay Maguire for earning his Eagle Scourt Award from the Boy Scouts of America.  This shows a great deal of PASSION and dedication.  Way to go!

Join the Upper School Spanish Club this Wednesday after school in the cafeteria annex for an hour of Salsa dancing! Our own Alumni Relations Coordinator, Mrs. Sarah Allgood will be teaching Salsa for beginners. A donation of $3 will be taken at the door. Please wear comfy shoes and bring a friend! Faculty, staff & students are welcome. 

The Spanish Club is offering a salsa dance class after school on Wednesday November 16th. . The class will be located in the outside dinning hall (where middle school has lunch). The class will go from 3:15 to 4:15, no payment is required but donations will be accepted! Please bring a change of athletic clothes and tell your friends to come! Please email Mary Edwards, Morgan Waite, or Alex Holloway if you have any questions. 

What better end is there to a Project Wrap-In than the Upper School talent show??? Eat some cookies, wrap some presents, then get up on stage and show off your talent! Any and all talents are welcome – if you can underwater basket weave, you bet your baskets we want to see that!!
