Kudos to Maya McCorkle, Olivia York, Samyha Suffren, Ashley Fowler, Trinity Mathis, Lili Booker, Khloe Thompson, Jamyrah Cherry, Meadow Campuriani, Aniya Brooks-Manning and Amaya King for their PASSION, TEAMWORK and KINDNESS in volunteering their time to run concessions during last Friday’s football game. 

She left a note about the following students:  Wyatt Erdmann, Caroline Cain, and Molly Reiss showed TEAMWORK when they helped a substitute teacher for Mr. West set up a movie and hand out video guides for their Word History I class.

Thank you, Willa Needham, for your passion and commitment to the Cannon Upper School newspaper! Your article “Poetry: A Fabric of Life” showed talent and dedication.  We are so thankful that you are part of the CUSP team!

***We will be hosting our annual Advisory Halloween Costume Contest this Wednesday October 27th. 

 The Deans will judge the best advisory for an advisory lunch!

The Cannon School Literary Arts Magazine, The Ink, is officially looking for artwork! Follow this link to submit your art. We will accept all drawings, prints, illustrations, photography, paintings, graphic design/digital artwork, multimedia pieces, video, and audio performances from all grade levels. The Ink Committee

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a national mentoring organization.  Its mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1 to 1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

Would you like to offer friendship, guidance and support to a child?  Here is how YOU can help.  We are currently in need of mentors (Bigs) at our site based program at the Cabarrus County Boys and Girls Club.  Below is the criteria:

  • You need to be at least 16 years old
  • You need to be able to commit to at least to 15 months of service
  • You need to be able to serve (1) hour per week
