***Spring College Commitment Ceremony for Cannon Senior Athletes:

Later today (Wednesday, April 14th), the Cannon community will celebrate the college commitments of several of our senior student-athletes. Participating athletes are listed below, along with the links to view the ceremony. In order to limit the use of and impact on campus bandwidth, we ask that students gather in small, social distance groups to watch the ceremony. Advisors are invited to broadcast the ceremony in their classrooms.

***Cannon Theater Company 2022 Musical Search

As always at this time of year, Cannon Theater Company is searching for the right musical to produce next year. Our first question is always – who’s interested and what are their singing strengths? To help us get a better sense of this, we (Mac, Mrs. Jones, Mr. Burlington) are asking for video submissions of you singing. These videos are NOT auditions, and they are not required in order to audition in the fall. They’re just an opportunity for you to be on our radar as we research which musicals could be good options for CTC. For more details, check out the email Mac ( sent you on Monday.

***Hi, my name is Olivia Harper. A few weeks ago, for my Capstone, I had a survey for people to fill out about what fun activities you might want to explore on your own. Thank you to those who filled it out! I have now used those responses to create my website as my final project. I would love it if you could click on the link and check it out. There is a page on there for suggestions/feedback and it would be great if you could tell me what you think. Thank you!

We are having a Stress Free Friday in the library this Friday.

We’ll be playing a movie, so come through and relax before the weekend!

See you there,

This year the Pinky Swear club has put together an outdoor Walk-a-Thon event during flex (12:30) on Friday, April 16th down at the track! The Upper School is invited to participate by paying $2. Money will be collected in envelopes by advisors starting Monday 4/12. You will enjoy music, popsicles, and a gift card raffle! With each additional dollar paid you will receive an extra entry in the raffle. You will also earn house points! The Cannon School Model UN Team would like to announce our annual CougarMUN on April 17th from 9am-12pm in the Upper School building! CougarMUN is a fun, laid-back Model UN conference for Cannon students (8th through 12th) and faculty. No experience is needed and there is an option to work with a partner if you don’t feel comfortable working by yourself! We will announce the fun topic we will be covering soon! Because of the complexity, we will sadly not offer an online option, only in person. Masks are required and there will be social distancing. Faculty, we have several teachers every year participate, so don’t be shy!

If interested, please respond to this google form by Sunday, April 11th:
