This year the Pinky Swear club has put together an outdoor Walk-a-Thon event during flex (12:30) on Friday, April 16th down at the track! The Upper School is invited to participate by paying $2. Money will be collected in envelopes by advisors starting Monday 4/12. You will enjoy music, popsicles, and a gift card raffle! With each additional dollar paid you will receive an extra entry in the raffle. You will also earn house points! All funds will be donated to the Pinky Swear Foundation which is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and emotional care for families who have a child battling cancer. We also urge you to wear orange and blue. Come walk for a cause!

Thank you from the Pinky Swear Club!

The ball retriever will arrive 15 minutes before the game starts and will meet Coach Jenna by the front gates. The responsibilities of the ball retriever are listed below

  • When the soccer ball is kicked out of play, toss the ball to the player putting the ball into play or lay the ball in the area where the ball was kicked out of bounds THEN go chase down the ball that went out of bounds
  • No Bouncing the balls on track or turf
  • No kicking the balls back and forth
  • Pay attention to the game (off your phones)
  • Be respectful of the players and coaches on the field and sidelines
  • We encourage you to wear Cannon apparel
  • Enjoy your sideline view of the game

Please use this link to sign up and work the upcoming soccer games.

The Cannon School Model UN Team would like to announce our annual CougarMUN on April 17th from 9am-12pm in the Upper School building! CougarMUN is a fun, laid-back Model UN conference for Cannon students (8th through 12th) and faculty. No experience is needed and there is an option to work with a partner if you don’t feel comfortable working by yourself! We will announce the fun topic we will be covering soon! Because of the complexity, we will sadly not offer an online option, only in person. Masks are required and there will be social distancing. Faculty, we have several teachers every year participate, so don’t be shy!

If interested, please respond to this google form by Sunday, April 11th:

If you have any questions, please reach out to me at! We are so excited to see you all!

Thank you,
