Graham Ayers, Faith Carpenter, and Sam Lack all demonstrated KINDNESS when they stepped in to help Dr. Wilner clean tables in the CUBE without being asked.

ATTENTION: Students with Macs..….As you know there is a new OS coming down the pipelines and we would like for you to refrain from upgrading to MAC OS Catalina. MAC OS Catalina will no longer support 32-bit applications which means software like Audacity will no longer work. There is also a potential you will need to reinstall Microsoft Office if you have the 32-bit version and Adobe Creative Suite.

Attention 9th and 10th Graders: Awesome at math? Do you think you’re better than anyone else at u-substitution? Do you enjoy winning?!? The Cannon Math Department is currently looking for individuals interested in competing in the AMC 10. If this is you, please see Mr. Zebracki for a letter explaining the competition, cost, and date for the exam. The deadline to enroll is December 9th, 2019.

Hey everyone!

Cougars Fighting Cancer is hosting our annual Pancake Breakfast Friday, December 13th! It is $5 for unlimited pancakes and access to the topping bar. It takes place right after Project Wrap-In, so after you wrap with your buddies, come enjoy some breakfast! All of the money goes to the American Cancer Society to help with cancer research, paying for treatments, and supporting families. We all know somebody who is fighting this battle and this is very near and dear to our heart.

ALSO, if anyone has a griddle, a spatula, a big cooking bowl, or a ladle, please email me at That would really help us out!

Many thanks,

Holly and CFC leadership

Project Wrap-In is Coming on December 13, 2019!

Each student is asked to bring in one new, unused gift ($5- $15) to store in homeroom the week of December 9. Students in grades 9th-12th may instead buy a gift for a young child of any age with their own gender in mind if they would like; however, keep in mind that children benefiting from this outreach opportunity may also be teens. Additionally, students MUST bring wrapping materials like wrapping paper, TAPE, ribbon, bows, etc.

Our hope for all students is:

  • Bring in one present ($5-$15).
  • Contribute wrapping paper and/or other wrapping supplies. Extra tape is very helpful!
  • Bring a giving and positive attitude.
  • Have fun!

We are looking forward to making a difference in the lives of many children!
