Over the weekend 10/26: DJ Nix
Kendyl Lauher and Ainsley Edmiston demonstrated TEAMWORK when they sorted and distributed all the school portraits for Upper School this week.
Courtney Nix and DJ Nix demonstrated KINDNESS when they volunteered to carry some boxes from the cafeteria to Dean Zelaya’s office.
Ella Kungl showed COURAGE when she followed through on a coaching goal that took some guts!
Elijah Ormiston demonstrated KINDNESS by letting two cars from Kings Crossing onto Poplar Tent Road ahead of him when traffic was backed up before school.
The MODEL UN TEAM will meet in the Library Annex during lunch on MONDAY, OCTOBER 28 to announce available spots on the travel team for our competition at UVA the weekend of November 15-17!!!!! Be there if you want to learn about the process of applying and pick up important materials. Freshmen members of our team are exempt from this Monday’s meeting, but we are SO PROUD of you guys for your turnout and performance at CHARMUN!

Whether you are a dancer, actor/actress, painter, musician, sculptor, graphic artist, or filmmaker, consider attending the Charlotte Performing and Visual Arts Fair to be held on Tuesday, October 29 from 7-9 PM at The Park Expo and Conference Center (800 Briar Creek Road, next door to Bojangles Arena on Independence Blvd.) This FREE event will feature over 50 colleges and universities, from art schools to large state universities to liberal arts colleges, and is open to ALL interested students and families. Calling all Cannon Students! The Cannon School Student Council is in search of students to join the Student Council Volunteer Corps. It’s fun, easy, and a great way to meet people across all grades! The volunteer group will be called upon to help with fulfilling Student Council service projects and initiatives. Students must get permission from their classroom teachers prior to attending an admissions event.
