THANK YOU to Abigail Hedgecock, Erin Kohlhepp, Anshul Patel, Reilly Kungl, Morgan Jeter, Drake Griffith, Virginia Robertson and Bella Edmondson for showing their PASSION for Cannon at the Upper School Admission breakfast for prospective parents and students! Our guests loved hearing about your Cannon experience and going on personal tours with you!!

Roshni Desai demonstrated COURAGE when she volunteered to give a presentation on Jainism to her history class.  Way to go, Roshni!


Annual Advisory Halloween Contest!

Wednesday October 31st

  • Advisory must dress up together as a theme
  • The theme must be approved by the Advisor and grade level dean
  • Send a picture of your advisory to Dean Zelaya by 9:00am on Wednesday the 31st to be eligible for the contest
  • Winning Advisory will receive a pizza party from the Deans

Student Council will be selling BOOgrams (our Halloween season candygrams) next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday outside of foundation hall during lunch! They will be selling for $1. Stop by and send a halloween treat to your friends! Have a spooky day!


On Monday, November 12, the Admission Office will be hosting the School Day Open House, which starts with a breakfast for our guests in the Dining Hall.  The Dining Hall will be closed between 8:45-9:45a.m. on Monday, November 12, for this event.  Please be sure to grab your breakfast and morning snacks prior to 8:45a.m.  Thank you!


Students are reminded to enjoy their lunch in the cafeteria and not in the library.  Your cooperation is needed to maintain a clean studying space.  Thank you!


 

There is a sign-up sheet outside of Mrs. Todd’s room in the World Language hallway to participate in the Foreign Language Festival Competition at Lenoir Rhyne. The deadline to sign up is TOMMOROW. On November 1st, you will receive an e-mail from your faculty mentor.


Seniors: The College Counseling Team will offer Drop – In Hours for Seniors in The Cube on the following date: 11/7.


Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores are invited to sign-up on Family Connection to visit with College Admission Representatives coming to Cannon School.  Students must get permission from their classroom teachers prior to attending an admissions event. Log into your Family Connection account to learn more about the colleges, find out visit times and register to attend. Visits will be held in The Cube or College Counseling Offices.
