“Most of what we say and do is not essential. If you can eliminate it, you’ll have more time, and more tranquillity. Ask yourself at every moment, ‘Is this necessary?’” — Marcus Aurelius

The US library is closed Tuesday, 02 May 17 for AP testing.

SENIORS!!!!  On Friday, May 5, from 11:15 – 12:00 p.m., we will be having our National College Signing Day Ceremony. That means – wear the t-shirt/sweatshirt bearing the name of your college and get ready for a fun party/photo session with your classmates! The schedule will be as follows:

11:15 – meet in the library annex for pizza and drinks. While there, grab some sidewalk chalk to take out in front of US (facing the Green) to create a chalk logo of the school you will be attending.
11:30 – We will have a FULL senior class pic with everyone wearing sweatshirts, facing the Green.
11:30 – 11:55 – Stick around! Mrs. Reiss will be shooting small group shots during this time.

Tips for Friday:
1. Wear a shirt that clearly conveys the name of your school.
2. Bring in props! Pennants, hats, stuffed animals wearing your college logo.
3. Going to school and playing a sport? Bring in a prop that shows that. (Kendall, a volleyball, Michael – a golf club, etc.)

Spectrum will be hosting a workshop that will be on TODAY during lunch in Ms Harley’s room on the topic of HB2.

Any boys interested in playing on the soccer team in the fall need to attend the meeting tomorrow May 3. The meeting will take place in Foundation Hall at 11:15. I look forward to seeing you all!
