The classes will be held Monday, November 27th through Friday, December 8th from 4:00 – 7:00. Cost is $450

Students must be 14½ years of age when the classes begin to be eligible to register. To complete the class, students must have thirty hours of class time and six hours of behind-the-wheel instruction.  We hope to offer another class in the spring through WatsOnWheels, but we have yet to schedule specific dates.

Cannon Cultures to award TWO $2,000 scholarships to seniors!

Cannon Cultures is a parent organization committed to cultural diversity and inclusion at Cannon
 
The organization serves to help support students, parents, and teachers to help create cultural awareness and acceptance.
 
Applications will elicit essay responses as well as demonstrated volunteerism and involvement in Cannon Cultures events (i.e. Worldly Wednesdays, Winter Wonderland, etc.). Finalists will be invited to participate in an interview as a final phase of evaluation.

Caden Elnaggar and Amir Morocco helped set up the wrestling room for a Beyond the Bell program this week. Thanks so much for your help — the kiddos had a blast that afternoon, in part, because of your efforts!

Eleanor Avett, Brooke Busby, Madison Drayton, Laila Dure, Sylvia Romley, Makala Stavrakas, Skyler Thurman, Emma Wang, Emma Westgarth-Taylor, Edi Zywicki ALL demonstrated PASSION for the Class of 2027 when they planned and executed an Advisory breakfast for all the female Advisories on Thursday! Thanks for helping us build community, Fernandos!!

In class, Emma Westgarth- Taylor consistently displays leadership and RESPECT by being among the first to give her full attention to the teacher. 2 CVs in one day, Emma!! 

Reagan Pinkerton and Katie Antosek showed KINDNESS when they helped a teacher fix the window blinds in her classroom! Much appreciated!!

Greg Watson showed great RESPECT for our classroom when he went above-and-beyond to help clean up a big mess in the Advisory Room. Thanks, Greg, for helping us to keep Cannon in tip-top shape!

Sophie, Lilly, and Sydney are hosting a food drive for Bags of Hope Lake Norman for their AT: Lang deliverable for their Memorable Memoir Project. This food drive is aiding in combating food insecurity, which was an issue for the main character in the memoir, The Glass Castle.

Please donate individually packaged snacks to help! Donation bin will be located inside the commons.
