James Dula displayed TEAMWORK when he loaded ALL of the XC team’s supplies and gear on the bus single-handedly in service of the group without even being asked.
 
Maddock Griffin and Pratyush Siva both demonstrated TEAMWORK when they jumped in to support a teacher with their technology issues. It’s so appreciated, and it really made a difference, thank you!!

Charlie Bragg demonstrated TEAMWORK when his teacher’s computer wasn’t working with the Smartboard so he jumped in and lent his computer to the teacher.

Victoria Marion, Alayna Poole, Addison Maynor, and Grace Morrison all demonstrated KINDNESS when they agreed to let a group of middle school students go ahead of them for pictures. We appreciate you!! 

Ruthie Hillman demonstrated tremendous KINDNESS when she let a classmate borrow her calculator without hesitation.

2nd YEARBOOK PICTURE DAY IS TODAY!

Students grades 9-11 with E or F block English class- report to Gay’s Garden TODAY DURING OFFICE HOURS!!

If you were absent yesterday, you should also report to Gay’s Garden during Office Hours today!

Arija Dreiman, Emily Kessel, and Carissa Pollack auditioned for the North Carolina Honors Chorus and demonstrated not only COURAGE but PASSION and risk-taking as well.

Landon Carroll, Graham Miller, Augie Wolding, and Cayden Zukowski showed INTEGRITY when they followed directions and checked in at Academic Lab Workshop at the start of the block instead of going straight to pictures.

Grace Ter Poorten demonstrated COURAGE when advocating for herself in her classes and respectfully, asking for clarification on assignments.

Nicolas Fernandez, Addie Hartz, Jessie Wrenholt, Janani Karthik, Fiona Nagle, Danilo Zelaya, Teddy Peterson, Laura Ann Bowen, Diya Induru, Liam Waite, Finn Pralong, and Autumn Latta , Lucas Lopez, Jadon Grouse, Matheos Papazian, Carson Brown, and Brice Mackall all demonstrated COURAGE by volunteering to read parts in the play “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”

Danilo Zelaya demonstrated TEAMWORK when he used the leaf blower to clear off the brick paths in Gay’s Garden for picture day. Thanks, Nilo! (TWO Cvs in one day, woo hoo!)

Max Dry and Nate Freidinger demonstrated KINDNESS and TEAMWORK when they helped Ms. Lineberger move some cans to her Science Room. Great job, guys!

Brianna Larkins showed PASSION for our House system by encouraging an entire class of Freshmen to participate and earn house points rather than viewing it pessimistically. She then also demonstrated INTEGRITY by reminding the group to have good sportsmanship rather than trash-talking their own or other houses. WTG, Brianna!!
