For the past 6 years, Cannon has participated in the National Association of Independent Schools’ Student Diversity Leadership Conference. The 2018 conference will be held November 28th – December 1st   in Nashville. There are six open slots for students. If you are interested in attending, please email Ms. Harley at sharley@cannonschool.org by May 31st.   All current Upper School students are encouraged to apply, including past attendees.

Student council is proud to announce that during the week of exams you can dress down for the entire week FOR ONLY 5$!!!!! Please turn the money into your grade level dean as they will have a sheet to know who has payed and who will be serving the community. Hope everyone has a fantastic day. SLEEP, STUDY, GRIND! 2 weeks left everyone let’s go out strong 💪🏽

My name is Jahnavi Duggal and I am initiating a school supply recycling project. I and would really appreciate it if the upper school students could participate. Any school supplies you think you may not need (pens, pencils, folders, paper, etc.) can be placed in one of the cardboard boxes that will be set up around the high school during locker clean out. Unfortunately, I can not accept textbooks. The collected supplies will be donated to Classroom Central who will then distribute the supplies to those in need.

Auditions for Cannon Theater Company’s fall 2018 one-act plays are happening this spring! Auditions will take place at a variety of times per students’ schedules, so just contact Mr. Mac at amacdonald@cannonschool.org to set up a time. Students currently taking an Upper School theater class will have the opportunity to audition during class. 8th graders and new students will have the opportunity to audition as well. Click here for the audition packet, which has 1) a form to print, fill out, and bring to your audition, 2) more specific information about the rehearsal/production schedule, and 3) the audition materials need to prepare in advance.
