The United Schutzhund Clubs of America will be hosting the USCA National Show for German Shepherd Dogs on October 10 through 13th, at the Iredell County Fairgrounds. This event is shaping up to be the single largest breed show for German Shepherd Dogs in U.S. history, and we could use many volunteers on October 12 and 13th. We are looking for student groups that would be interested in earning service-hour credit to meet their National Honor Society, Beta Club, Key Club, ROTC, FFA, 4-H, etc. requirements. Student responsibilities could include being runners for judges’ scoresheets and refreshment needs, assisting the tabulation and registration teams, at the Information booths, and general assistance for the event. If you have group sponsors and/or students who would like to know more about this opportunity or to earn service hours while participating at this historic event, please have them contact me for further information.
