FSHS Student Bulletin for Wednesday, April 12, 2023! | FORT SCOTT HIGH SCHOOL

Dakotah Smith and Everett Wells showed TEAMWORK and RESPECT dcwhen they took time out of their independent study to clean up the senior lounge after peers left it dirty after lunch. Way to go Everett and Dakotah!

Emma Westgarth-Taylor and Everett Wells demonstrated TEAMWORK and RESPECT when they asked someone at the front office for help finding a broom so they could clean up some turf nuggets in the hallway. Way to work together to keep our Upper School building looking its best!

Avi Pandey and Max Pegram demonstrated KINDNESS by helping Dean Zelaya bring items back to her office after senior sunrise. Way to go, Avi and Max!

Lauren Shattner demonstrated INTEGRITY by proactively informing her AP Physics teacher of a grading error on her test — even when it was not in her favor. Well done, Lauren!

Nikhil Patel showed true integrity by going out of his way to let his AP Physics teacher know that a test question had been marked correct when it shouldn’t have been. It takes real character to do the right thing, especially when it’s not to your advantage. Great job, Nikhil!!

Eli Cannon and Landon Wells both demonstrated KINDNESS by helping the tech team lift and carry a large and heavy workbench into the tech office. THANKS!!!

Anish Vankineni, Teddy Peterson, and Keenya Western demonstrated COMMUNICATION effectively by bravely volunteering to speak in front of the class and represent their colonial regional by articulating why their region was different from the other two colonial regions in 17th century Colonial America. Folks, you should all be proud of your courage and communication!
