Instructions for Yearbook Dedication ceremony TODAY:

8:10- All US students report to Advisory for attendance.

8:15- Leave bookbags in the Gossage building and head to Boswell Gym.
US students sit in the bleachers.

8:25 YBK program begins.

We are going to dismiss at 2:30 today to give our Softball team a proper send-off as they head off-campus to play game 1 of the State Championship!
Please avoid the construction zone when coming out to Education Way!.

Summer Term IV

Honors Algebra II–> Honors Accelerated Precalculus
and
Honors Precalculus → AP Calculus AB (Self-Paced)

IF you have had at least one Honors Accelerated math course at Cannon. Students must also be earning an A in their current course to opt into a self-paced summer module to prepare for the next level.

Format: Self-paced throughout the summer
Requirement: Completion of assigned work (reviewed by a teacher)

Assessment: Mastery Test on August 3rd at 9:00am (All work must be completed before you can sit for the mastery test.) Cost: $125
Sign up using the link below by May 21st at the latest.

AP Exams are taking place from May 4-15!!!
During these times, areas outside the testing areas must remain quiet.
In an effort to assist with this, the hallway outside of Foundation Hall will be closed for the majority of the next 2 weeks to all students who are not actively taking an AP exam in that location. Traffic should be diverted out the doors by the Green, or down the stairwell at the end of the Science hallway to enter/exit the building.

 

If you currently have a loaner computer, it MUST be returned to IT this week.

 

Attention all US Students:
 
All remaining items in the lost and found will be donated or thrown out as of 3:00pm on Tuesday, May 19th. Please take your items at your earliest convenience. Moving forward to next school year, items will be donated or thrown away every two weeks.

Summer 2026: World Language Acceleration Opportunity (Term III)
Interested in advancing in your World Language studies this summer? Eligible students can pursue a self-paced acceleration pathway through approved immersion programs or external courses.
Participants must submit proof of completion and take the AAPPL proficiency test on August 3 at 9:00 am. Programs require pre-approval, and all interested students must sign up by May 15.  Learn more about requirements, assessments, costs, deadlines, and important guidelines.

On May 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., The Culture Lab is partnering with CliftonLarsonAllen to host a Student Day for young people to gain exposure to accounting, financial services, and professional career pathways.

The experience will include a tour of the CLA facility, time to connect with professionals, exposure to potential careers in this field, and free lunch for students. CLA is also hoping to identify students interested in their paid internship program, which makes this an even more valuable opportunity.

Because I know how much you care about students and helping them access real opportunities, I wanted to ask if you’d be willing to share the registration form with your families.
