“Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere.”  — Chinese proverb

Kudos to Elias Simon, Abby Guilfoyle and Lilly Breese for their KINDNESS and TEAMWORK in helping a struggling fellow student carry boxes of books from her club book drive. The ten minutes they gave up during their lunch time was much appreciated.

Thank you to Julia Ellington, Lauren Childress, Maya Del Cid, Annalise Randall-Bauer, Sydney Scurlock, Ainsley Edmiston, Maryanne Lewis, Nyah Carnaggio, Destiny Thomas, Finley Necessary, Kierra Morrow, Maya McCorkle, Trin Mathis, Anyia Brooks-Manning, Jamyrah Cherry, Ashley Fowler, Khloe Thompson, Maria Nix, and Catherine Turner for their TEAMWORK and KINDNESS in helping lower school with their first AE day.  We do appreciate the time and energy you shared with our youngest learners.

***Feeling stressed or anxious? Having difficulty focusing? Want to learn how to better control your reactions to difficult situations?

Come to Room 616 during Office Hours on Tuesdays!

Every Tuesday Mrs. Rachelle Thompson will be leading sessions on Mindful Meditation.

In these sessions you will learn about the different tools that you can use to deal with everyday challenges. One day you may learn about ways to respond to anxiety and another day you might learn about tools you can use to improve our ability to focus… or settle your mind and body to fall asleep. This mindfulness practice helps settle the nervous system and provides a short period of reset in the middle of the busy day.

Winterm 2023 will take place during the week of January 3 – 6, 2023. Click here to learn more about the different Winterm courses available!   The online registration period for all Winterm Experiences will begin at the start of office hours on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. This process will be completed via a link sent to each student. Once a first and second-year course is at capacity, it will disappear from possible. Juniors will receive more information via email. Reach out to Mrs. Snowfrock with any questions!
