Winter WonderLAN – Dec 2nd 5-10pm Please RSVP @ https://www.esportscollective.gg/2022-winter-wonderlan The History Club is holding a Veteran’s Day meeting to make cards for Veterans and watch Beyond the Bridge of no Return on Thursday (10th) during Office Hours! The meeting is in Room 705 on the third floor! Congratulations to Cannon Theater Company for a successful performance of “Puffs” at the North Carolina Theater Festival! Adjudicators praised the cast’s precision comic timing and pacing, character specificity, ensemble work, and dynamic stage pictures. The crew was praised for the multiple technical surprises built into the show; Alex Fox as Stage Manager and Viktor Henry as Light Board Operator received special commendations for their leadership. Come see “Puffs” at Cannon on Nov 10, 11, or 12 at 7:00pm! The Theater In Performance class will be performing two additional short one-act plays that evening – “Cicada Shells” and “The Ladder.”
For those interested in working with Lower School students, here is a collection of opportunities for you! These include joining third and fourth graders at recess (they always need a good referee), AE day passion class assistant, and more. This is a working document, and we will be adding more items as the needs arise. Be sure to check back often! You can sign up for as many activities as you would like. **Note: Only sign up for activities that fall during your drop periods or non-classroom times. For special events, you need to ask for permission from teachers if you will miss class. Our most immediate need is for AE Day on November 18. We need several volunteers to help assist teachers in passion classes from 9:30-11ish. Please reach out to Dean Fox (mfox@cannonschool.org) if you have any questions. |
