School Year Abroad (SYA)  – Visit to Cannon School

When:   9/28/22 9:45 – 10:15 am

Where:  The Cube

Who:     Open to 9-11th grade students. Please register through SCOIR to attend. 9th graders can go directly to The Cube and do not need to register.

What:    SYA offers the chance to spend a semester or your sophomore, junior or senior year in France, Italy, or Spain. Students attend classes, live with a host family, and participate in educational travel.


Cougars at least 16 years old:
– Would you like spend your Winterm Week doing something for others?
– Ever wonder what it would be like to build a house??
If these questions are easy “Yes”answers, please come to the MiLL next Tuesday, September 27 at 1:00 to learn about the Winterm Trip to Charleston, SC, to help build houses with Sea Island Habitat for Humanity. Ruddy and Mush will share trip details and have sign up paperwork for those interested. All are welcome to the interest meeting, but the trip itself is limited to 12 students, so reach out now if you want to secure a spot early!


Upper School Competitive Robotics Team – Interest Meeting

All students who are interested in or curious about building, coding, or piloting robots are invited to the MiLL during office hours this Thursday, September 22, to learn about the First Tech Challenge game for the ‘22-’23 season and to establish interest in forming a Cannon Upper School team. Check SCOIR for the most up-to-date listing of college representative visits and to learn in what format they will visit Cannon. Use this Zoom Meeting Link to connect for virtual visits. You may come to The Cube if you are on campus during the rep visit and need a place to log into the Zoom session. We recommend you bring headphones for the Zoom visit!
