Hi all! My name is Gaby Phillips. For my Capstone project, I’m offering a workshop about Character Design and Storytelling, where you can learn how to create visually appealing characters and how to create a story revolving around them. There will be activities where you’ll have to design characters of your own as well! There is no experience needed in any of these areas to participate. So, if you’re interested in learning more about this topic, please sign up using the Google Form here. It will be happening on Tuesday, February 22nd during Lunch and Office Hours in the Cube. I only have a few spots left for my small workshop so if you’re interested please sign up ASAP. Thank you!
Hello, Upper School students. Thank you for your continued patronage in our Flik Food Service Program.
I do need to ask for a favor. During afternoon hours our team is either on lunch, or stocking shelves for next day operations. We put together an honor system in which you can write down your purchase and not have to wait for a team member. However lately, we have seen this system being taken advantage of. Example being, not writing your name down, not writing your number down in a legible manner. We also ask that you write down your item in more description detail. Examples being: Instead of writing “Drink” we ask you to please write down “Lipton Tea” or “Tropicana Juice” whatever it is you are getting We also ask you to put the amount of items you are getting down. So instead of writing “ice Cream” please write down “3 ice creams” when purchasing multiple items. We ask that you write neatly so that we can ring in the correct item and we also ask that you ONLY write down purchases for yourself. You are NOT allowed to write down another persons name The last thing I want to do is go back each night and watch the video cameras and have to report back to the deans that someone is not being honest about their purchase If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask Kindly Mr. Evans

Calling all filmmakers, actors, and artists!
The All-American Film Festival is the largest high school film festival in the world judged by industry professionals and celebrities including Kristen Stewart, John Legend, and the creator of Gossip Girl. The goal of the festival is to help high school filmmakers have an opportunity to have their work screened and make industry connections (The selected films are played on festival night at the AMC Empire theatre in Times Square). Currently I am putting together a production team to enter a short film drama this year. If you are interested in working preproduction, production, or postproduction, please click the form below. We need artists of all kinds on our team including actors, extras, editors, cinematographers, makeup artists, composers, musicians, production helpers, set designers, you name it! Some scenes may require time outside of the school day, but I am happy to design the schedule around the needs of the participants! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at @lcarnaggio@cannonschool.org.
Hello Cannon Upper School!
The Ink is taking final submissions of artwork and writing right now! If you are interested in submitting, please look at the information below.
For writing submissions, please print 2 hard copies of each piece, with the title of your work, your real name, and pseudonym, and drop them off in The Ink bin located in the English office. If you have any questions regarding this please reach out to Mr. Smith or Mrs. Coughlin. You can submit up to 3 pieces of written work.

The submission deadline for everything is February 9th.
This is the final time for anyone to submit their work to The Ink. We look forward to seeing everyone’s creativity!
