Mrs. Loflin’s Advisory (Jimmy Anderson, Hudson Davis, Sam Davis IV, Luke Fox, Carter Huffman, Malachi Johnson, Leo Kohlhepp, William Lomax, Eli Maples, Riley Shue, Rayyan Syed, Ferris Way and Max Wolff) showed KINDNESS when they wrote cards and letters to show their support of their AMAZING Advisor. 

Shout out to Ethan Bentley for his display of INTEGRITY when he didn’t want to accept his teacher’s help on a quiz because he didn’t want to have an unfair advantage.

The following I’M FINE Club & Peer Support Team & IMPETUS House Leadership members showed TEAMWORK & COURAGE in advocating, planning and leading the LET GO/LET IN Student Life Activity: David Boisvert, Sarah Combs, Helen Craft, Meg Crosbie, Evan Essex, Harshini Gadadusa, Maya Goldsberry, Sammie Johnson, Anna Kinken, Addie Krug, Taylor McGibbon, Caroline Mills, Todd Pelino, Myles Stradford, Sara Trufant Jackson Hammock and Olivia Wells.

***The week of May 3rd is Teacher Appreciation Week! Parents at Cannon group Cannon Connections has planned an exciting week to show our teachers how much they are loved and appreciated. Students and families are encouraged to shower the teachers with gratitude by participating on Tuesday and Thursday. 

Tuesday – Students to bring in a single flower for each of their teachers. Together they will make a beautiful bouquet! (can be real, faux, or hand drawn.)

Thursday – Students to bring a personalized Thank You card for each of their teachers. (can be purchased or handmade)

Thank you for your help in celebrating our incredible teachers and staff during this next week!


***AP/AT Students: If you decide to OPT OUT of an AP exam between now and test day, you must complete the AP Refund Request Form for every AP exam you DO NOT TAKE to obtain a full refund.

ATTENTION JUNIORS!

Student Support would like to invite Juniors to “Focus Fridays”  during their drops and flex in the ACC classroom, Room 606.  

We will be providing a stress-free AND focus-driven space to get work done.  We will provide encouragement, guidance, and office supplies to help maximize work time.  We will also be hosting a coffee bar with snacks! YUM!!!

No sign up or RSVP is needed – simply a genuine desire to get things done and to free up weekends from work and stress.

Why:                     Juniors will learn about the nomination process required for highly competitive scholarships including Levine, Morehead Cain, Park, Bryan, Belk, Centennial and Jefferson

NATIONAL VIRTUAL COLLEGE FAIRS
The University of South Carolina is among more than 500 institutions participating in a National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) virtual college fair series hosted throughout the spring.
