Hey Everyone! I am Eliott Diskin and I am working on a project to recycle the lunch containers that our school is using this year. I am looking for people who would be interested in helping me collect the containers during office hours. I especially need help from someone in Maroon week. The containers will be washed and donated to Envision Charlotte who will recycle them into face shields for healthcare workers. If you’re interested, please email me at ediskin@cannonschool.org

Hi everyone!

If we haven’t met before, my name is Heidi Coppa and I started a film production club last year called Cannon Film Studios. We didn’t make anything, but I’m choosing to blame that on the pandemic. And now we are excited to get started on our first short film of the year!!

The concept- a short film made up entirely on the spot. The only plan is that I will hold auditions that will give me an idea of who is best to act in a film with this much improvisation, and then once it is cast we will coordinate a day when all of us will show up with some cameras and 2 props and we will start shooting! If you are interested in working behind the camera, your help will also be greatly appreciated as we would like to have 2 cameras operating as well as sound!

Of course, it will be mandatory to mask, sanitize, and maintain social distance because this is no covid party. Getting sick is unprofessional.

If you are interested in acting or operating equipment during the shoot, please email me at hcoppa@cannonschool.org !!

We are excited for a lot of fun, chaos, and exploration! I can’t wait for you to be a part of the process!
