As you heard in the community meeting yesterday, we have a brand new and exciting opportunity to tutor the lower schoolers! We hope to have groups of 3 or 4 go to the lower schoolers Mondays through Thursdays from 3:30-4. This is an excellent opportunity for easy, meaningful service hours. November 26th during Lunch: Putney Student Travel will have a representative by the Private Dining Room in the cafeteria. Putney Student Travel offers students summer opportunities focused on Community Service, Language Immersion, Cultural Exploration, Adventure Travel, and Pre-college Enrichment. They will also be representing National Geographic Student Expeditions which offers programs for students focused on Photography, Wildlife & Conservation, Archaeology & Ancient Culture, Filmmaking, Creative Writing, Climate, and Community Service, as well as theNew York Times Student Journeys, which offers opportunities for students to explore themes prominent in Times coverage. Each journey is joined by either a National Geographic expert or New York Times journalist.

Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores are invited to sign-up on Naviance Student to visit with College Admission Representatives coming to Cannon School. Students must get permission from their classroom teachers prior to attending an admissions event. Students who need assistance accessing their Naviance account or registering for college visits should contact their college counselor.
