The new Grief Affinity Group will have its first meeting Tuesday, April 23, 2019 during lunchin room 504. There will be cookies & cupcakes! This group is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one and is interested in outreach, leadership or social opportunities.


Costa Rica 2020 Trip (January 5 – 12th)

There will be an interest meeting on Thursday, April 25th @ 6pm in Foundation Hall, for families interested in a student service trip to Costa Rica for Winterm 2020.  Students will stay with host families, go on excursions, and work with a local non-profit. A rep from “Our Human Family” will go over trip details and answer any questions you may have.

Please e-mail Mrs. Jady Arriaga jarriaga@cannonschool.org if you think your parents/guardians will be in attendance for the informational meeting.

The Admission Office Team invites all Upper School students to be active Student Ambassadors for the 2019-2020 academic year.  To do so, please complete a Student Ambassador Profile (an 8-10 minute Survey Monkey).

WANT TO APPLY TO BE A SAN LEADERSHIP INTERN? HERE’S HOW:

Please complete the following two steps by Monday, May 6, 2019:

  1. Complete the Student Ambassador Profile (an 8-10 minute Survey Monkey); AND
  2. Submit the following statement to Mrs. Weinstock via email (kweinstock@cannonschool.org) or deliver to the Admission Office.

A statement addressing why you would like to intern in the Admission Office and what personal qualities, characteristics and experiences make you a good intern candidate.

If you are interested in being an engineer or the STEM field in general, I will be giving a presentation tomorrow, Wednesday the 17th, during lunch that I believe may be very helpful for you. I will be talking about opportunities that are available to high school students to help you explore your interests and build a resumé for college. It would mean a lot if you would come to this quick meeting as I would love to share my experience and help you make the most of your time in high school.

  On Thursday, April 18 2019 Larken Lancaster and Alex Katsikaris we be coming around to collect used Expo and Crayola markers. This is part of the Crayola ColorCycle project and our capstone. Also on this date please bring in these markers that are not in use at your house. W are doing this in a effort to recycle and help the environment.
