Amaya King, Harshini Gadudasu, Sydney Wood, Hannah Shiffert, Hannah Rosa, McKenna Koch, Victoria Schneider, Declan Hurley, and Holly Springate demonstrated TEAMWORK and PASSION by giving up their lunch to help the Ms. Weinstock and Mr. Hurtado with our school self study.

Today, the Cannon School GSA will honor the Day of Silence. The GLSEN Day of Silence is a student-led national event in which students take a vow of silence to highlight the silencing and erasure of LGBTQ+ individuals due to bullying. We’re currently hiring lifeguards for a seasonal, summertime job at local neighborhood pools all throughout the greater charlotte area. We offer short commutes, competitive pay, and a fun environment for students to get leadership, safety, and customer service experience. You don’t have to be certified to apply!

Interested in being an Upper School Student Ambassador next year?

The Admission Office Team invites all Upper School students to be active Student Ambassadors for the 2019-2020 academic year.  To do so, please complete a Student Ambassador Profile (an 8-10 minute Survey Monkey).

WANT TO APPLY TO BE A SAN LEADERSHIP INTERN? HERE’S HOW:

Please complete the following two steps by Monday, May 6, 2019:

  1. Complete the Student Ambassador Profile (an 8-10 minute Survey Monkey); AND
  2. Submit the following statement to Mrs. Weinstock via email (kweinstock@cannonschool.org) or deliver to the Admission Office.

A statement addressing why you would like to intern in the Admission Office and what personal qualities, characteristics and experiences make you a good intern candidate.

Hi, my name is Gillian Ventura, and I am partners with Caitlyn Kunkle for our Capstone project. We are hosting a “Mental
Health Free Night of Passion and Relief” Talent Show at 7:00pm on April 14th in the New Middle School Building. We are showcasing our talented students to the audience, along with having a discussion on mental health and
how it impacts our community. We are looking for students to sign up and take part in performing on the CPAC Stage.
This event will go on for about an hour and a half, so please come out and support! If you are interested in performing any passion or talent of yours,

Seniors, Juniors and Sophomores are invited to sign-up on Naviance Student to visit with College Admission Representatives coming to Cannon School.  Students must get permission from their classroom teachers prior to attending an admissions event.Log into your Naviance Student account to learn more about the colleges, find out visit times and register to attend. Visits will be held in The Cube or College Counseling Offices.
