Thank you to the PANCAKE queens, Taylor McGibbon and Meghan Schreck for showing KINDNESS by getting to school early to make pancakes for the entire advisory (plus a few extra friends!). And then another thank you to Rebecca Hurtado and Ksenya Englesby for helping clean up the yummy pancake breakfast. Way to go ladies!

Carrie Underwood, Nathan Smith, and Gabe Ortiz demonstrated TEAMWORK when they volunteered their Saturday night to babysit for the senior class fundraiser.

Rebecca Henriques demonstrated INTEGRITY when she pointed out that she could answer a quiz question based on information posted in the room. Way to go, Rebecca!

NAHS Meeting Friday at Lunch! There will be a National Art Honor Society Meeting this Friday at Lunch in the US Art Room. We’ll be planning and signing up for the service projects happening later this month. Looking forward to seeing all members and prospective members there!


For all students wanting to be on the Track and Field team this spring, there will be an interest meeting on FRIDAY January 18th during STUDENT CHOICE in FOUNDATION HALL.  If you are not able to attend that meeting, please reach out to coach Campbell at rcampbell@cannonschool.org to get necessary information.


Model UN members: ALL team members interested in going to our conference at UNC Chapel Hill in February should attend an initial planning meeting on Tuesday, Jan 22!  (That means everyone—even if you are not going to JHUMUNC!) This is your chance to pick up a permission slip for MUNCH! We will meet during lunch in the library annex!


There will be a meeting of all males in grades 9 to 12 who are interested in playing lacrosse for Cannon School this spring on Thursday, January 17th at 11:15 am in Foundation Hall.  Please meet Coach Schattner at this time for important information concerning the upcoming season.
