My name is Trey Zamora and I am collecting used soccer and volleyball items for an orphanage Casa de Esperanza (House of Hope) that is located in Caranavi, Bolivia. My Capstone project is called Pitch Of Promise in honor of my father who had a passion for soccer and was a volunteer soccer coach at North Meck Soccer Club (now Carolina Rapids) before he passed. He was born in La Paz, Bolivia. This orphanage has boys and girls of all ages that love to play soccer and volleyball or a version of volleyball called “Wallyball”. I visited the orphanage this summer and they are grateful for anything we can provide (clothes, cleats, shin guards, balls, etc…). You can drop off the items in Mr. Arthur’s room, my advisory through Thanksgiving. I have a bin located in his room.
