TODAY (April 24) during lunch in the Library Annex I will be presenting my capstone! I will be talking about/showing how social media is negatively affecting our self-esteem and how the perfection shown to us as we’re scrolling through Instagram isn’t realistic. I promise it’s an interesting topic and won’t be boring.
This won’t be a lecture about how social media is bad or ruining our lives or anything, it will just be an awareness-bringing presentation. We will cover:FaceTune editing, Posing, Lighting, Social pressures, and more! Bring your lunch and your friends! Hope to see you all there, Emma Bentley-Gottel
TODAY, Foundation Hall, Lunch & Learn: Colleges in our Backyard – Myth Busting what it is Like to go to College in the Greater Charlotte Area. Is there anything new or fun to do in Charlotte? Are these Charlotte area colleges just “bigger Cannons”? Students should bring their lunch to Foundation Hall to hear to hear from these experienced alums!
