Caroline Carr, Sophie Collins, Stephanie Grissom, Bailey Jones, Jaime Landau, Jackson Lods, Megan McKinsey, Lauren Mendenhall, Davis Norton, Adam Parks, Cali Proper, Jack Selden, & Luke Thomas showed INTEGRITY by continuing to work when they found themselves without a sub.

Harrison Burton, John Luke Godino, Stephanie Grissom, Timmy Jones, Grace Micolucci, Adam Parks, Kathryn Remmey, Jack Selden, and Nathan Smith showed great KINDNESS when they helped Ms. Loflin put art easels upstairs in the CPAC.

Emma Kate Bentley Gottel, Catina Smith, Allie Coffey, Thomas Leck, Lydia Pinto, Mirabella Calabrase, Patrick Dodds, & Will Zandhuis demonstrated great COURAGE and INTEGRITY in sharing about their academic growth with a parent audience that was so impressed by their maturity and candor.

Reily Glaskow, Charlotte Davis, Akshi Kumar, Gabe Ortiz, Matthew Wheeler, Ben Diskin, & Tommy Jones demonstrated RESPECT and KINDNESS in helping to carry chairs to and from the atrium to prepare for a parent education event

Paula Hylton, Richard Smith, Claudia Velandia, Jenny Weakland, Beth Lineberger, Joe Trojan, Kristin McClanahan, & Jessica Kulp generously gave of their time to present alongside students at a parent education event. I am grateful for the PASSION they bring to their students each and every day and for the opportunity to be part of a team with them. -Tere


ATTENTION FRESHMEN: Need Volunteer Hours? Interested in learning more about College? WE NEED YOUR HELP! The College Counseling Office seeks volunteers to help with the 2nd Annual College Case Studies program on Sunday, April 24hosted at Cannon School.  This is a great way to get some service hours. BONUS!! We invite you to attend the College Fair from 3-4 pm if you volunteer to help (an event normally reserved for 10th and 11th grades only).

MODEL UN MEMBERS! If you are interested in a leadership position for next year: please email Mrs. Shaefer expressing your interest and suggesting some times you are available for an interview. Interviews can take place anytime between now and Friday, May 4. It is your job to be proactive about scheduling an interview! There will be FOUR executive members for Model UN next year. You must be either a rising junior or a rising senior and have participated fully in Model UN activities this year (attended at least 3 of 4 of our conferences and been regularly present at meetings). If you have questions about our (newly designed) leadership roles or how to prepare for your interview, please reach out. J

The Admission Office Team invites all Upper School students to be active Student Ambassadors for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Please complete a Student Ambassador Profile (an 8-10 minute Survey Monkey) so we are better informed about you and your interests!

WANT TO APPLY TO BE AN ADMISSION INTERN? HERE’S HOW:

Please complete the following two steps by Monday, April 30, 2018:

  1. Complete the Student Ambassador Profile (an 8-10 minute Survey Monkey); AND
  2. Submit the following statement to Mrs. Weinstock via email (kweinstock@cannonschool.org) or deliver to the Admission Office.

A statement addressing why you would like to intern in the Admission Office and what personal qualities, characteristics and experiences make you a good intern candidate.
