Class of 2019 students interested in learning more about the timeline and requirements for submitting competitive scholarship applications next fall should plan to come to the Scholarships Lunch and Learn on TODAY, April 12 in Foundation Hall.

MODEL UN MEMBERS,PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS, or CURIOUS UPPER SCHOOL STUDENTS: please sign up for CougarMUN!!!!!  It will be a fun one-day showcase of Model UN skills here at Cannon on Saturday, May 5! We will feed you lunch! You also get to compete (or in this case, possibly declare war on) your teachers! Even if you’re a senior and a first-time participant just interested in seeing what MUN is about, you are welcome!  Sign up via the link emailed to you by Elizabeth Hurley. The Admission Office Team invites all Upper School students to be active Student Ambassadors for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Please complete a Student Ambassador Profile (an 8-10 minute Survey Monkey) so we are better informed about you and your interests!

WANT TO APPLY TO BE AN ADMISSION INTERN? HERE’S HOW:

Please complete the following two steps by Monday, April 30, 2018:

1. Complete the Student Ambassador Profile (an 8-10 minute Survey Monkey); AND
2. Submit the following statement to Mrs. Weinstock via email (kweinstock@cannonschool.org) or deliver to the Admission Office.

A statement addressing why you would like to intern in the Admission Office and what personal qualities, characteristics and experiences make you a good intern candidate.

Attention Cannon School underclassmen: Jackson and Osahon will be hosting a college essay writing bootcamp this Thursday and Friday in the CUBE (college counseling room) from 3:15-4:15 as a part of their capstone. They will be going over some of their essay-writing tips and showing you examples of our REAL college essays that we used to get into REAL colleges! It will be informative and help you write some bomb essays to get you into that dream college!
