Attention All Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors! Have you thought about applying for the Peer Support Team?
If you think you would like to help lead & serve the Cannon community in a quiet, confidential way, consider the following questions:
o Are you a good listener?
o Do people trust you with their deepest, darkest secrets?
o Are you open-minded and non-judgmental?
o Can you be empathetic without crying at the news or a Humane Society commercial?
o Are you a good friend?
If so, nominate yourself or a friend you think would be a great Peer Support Team member. There will be a mandatory informational meeting for anyone interested in finding out more or applying, Monday, March 12th during lunch in US Library Annex. Please email me and let me know if you are interested but cannot attend.
A friendly reminder….in order to keep a clean study environment, eating lunch in the library is not permitted. Students are also asked to enjoy their lunch in the cafeteria, not in the hallway outside of the library annex.
If you’re interested in helping the families of those who passed away in the recent tragedy at Maryjoy Stoneman Douglas Highschool in Parkland, Florida I’ve included a link to a GoFundMe below! All donations will go towards providing financial support and relief to those grieving. Every donation is appreciated! Please keep the Parkland community in your thoughts! https://www.gofundme.com/stonemandouglasvictimsfund
