Looking for volunteer opportunities at school? There are two Beyond the Bell classes for Session 3 that need volunteers, Brick Adventures LEGO on Tuesdays from 3 to 4 p.m. and Crazy Running on Fridays from 3 to 4 p.m. Session 3 runs from 2/21/17-5/517. A representative from Wake Forest’s Pre-College Summer Immersion Programs will be on campus during lunch on Tuesday, Feb. 7 to chat with you about programs available this summer at the Uptown Charlotte campus or at Wake’s main Winston-Salem campus. Curious about GAP Year Programs? Attend the USA GAP Year Fair, Sunday, Feb. 12 from 3-6 PM (presentation 3-3:45 PM) at Providence Day School. The fair will provide you and your parents with a broad exposure to the variety of gap year programs that emphasize experiential education and personal growth through travel, language immersion, directed study, outdoor adventure, community service, and/or internships.
