Students: If you want popcorn and a drink during Hidden Figures on 2/7, please bring your dean $5.  We need all money by Monday 2/6.

The Muslim Students Group will be hosting a meeting in Mrs. Huffman’s room during Student Choice TODAY. Mrs. Huffman will be sharing her thoughts on a webinar about Islam followed by a brief discussion about the religion in today’s world. All students are encouraged to attend! 

Are you interested in learning more about Yearbook? Come meet this year’s editors, hear from them about their experiences, and ask questions about what it’s like to be a member of our staff. TODAY during Student Choice in Mrs. Morrell’s room (617).

A representative from Wake Forest’s Pre-College Summer Immersion Programs will be on campus during lunch on Tuesday, Feb. 7 to chat with you about programs available this summer at the Uptown Charlotte campus or at Wake’s main Winston-Salem campus.  Please stop by the private dining room during lunch to pick up some information.

If you are looking for a language and cultural immersion program this summer, with the added component of volunteerism and service, then ISA may be a great fit for you! Or maybe you are thinking of taking a gap year. With programs in China, France, Italy, Spain, Costa Rica, and Peru, the experience of a lifetime awaits you! Come chat with a representative from ISA during lunch in the private dining room on Tuesday, Feb. 7 from 11:15-noon.  

Curious about GAP Year Programs? Attend the USA GAP Year Fair, Sunday, Feb. 12 from 3-6 PM (presentation 3-3:45 PM) at Providence Day School. The fair will provide you and your parents with a broad exposure to the variety of gap year programs that emphasize experiential education and personal growth through travel, language immersion, directed study, outdoor adventure, community service, and/or internships.
