House Animus will be taking orders for Pura Vida Bracelets OUTSIDE FOUNDATION HALL DURING LUNCH STARTING TUES, SEPT 6. The red and blue bracelets benefit the American Widow Project, an organization that supports and rehabilitates families of fallen service members during their periods of grieving. The bracelets COST $5 (please pay cash), and they will be delivered to your advisory when they are ready! ATTENTION FRESHMAN!!! All Freshman interested in running for student council need to get a copy of the bylaws from Ms. Harley. This needs to be turned in with a parent signature along with your speech by Friday, September 9th at 3:00 to Ms. Harley. Elections will be held for the three freshman representative spots during your class trip. Thank you so much for your interest in student council–we would love to have you on the team!
There will be a MANDATORY meeting on Friday, September 9, during STUDENT CHOICE in Coach Kulp’s room (rm. 612) for any UPPER SCHOOL GIRL who is interested in playing varsity basketball this season. Practice and game schedules, as well as spirit pack order information, will be discussed. If you would like to participate on the varsity girls’ basketball teams this winter, you must attend.
