Congratulations to the cast and crew of Rhinoceros for a successful performance at the North Carolina Theater Conference High School Play Festival! Cannon Theater Company received seven awards for their production, including Honorable Mention Distinguished Play. Come see Rhinoceros for yourself in Taylor Hall, playing November 14-16 at 7:00pm!

Happy Election Day! The US library annex is closed today in order to serve as a polling place for county elections. Students may use the main section of the library.
The Spanish Club will be throwing a Día de los Muertos celebration during Student Choice on Wednesday, November 6 in Mrs. Clarke’s room (Room 510). There will be food, music and decorations. All are welcome!
The first annual International Festival is scheduled for Thursday, November 21st during student life. The festival is a celebration of the many cultures that form the Upper School. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to represent the country of their heritage or a country of their “heart”. If you are interested in representing a country or performing during the festival, please contact Mr. Kmidowski for more information.
Do you like winning easy money? Well you’re in luck! The Class of 2014 Senior Gift Committee is holding an Upper School 50/50 raffle from November 4th to November 15th.Tickets are just $1 for 1, $3 for 4, or 5$ 10! Tickets will be sold outside of foundation hall everyday during lunch. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of a Cannon School inflatable cougar sports tunnel (seen below) that will be used at outdoor athletic events! So stop by during lunch for your chance to win big and to support Cannon School spirit!
