Stella Comiskey demonstrated RESPECT when she changed her mind based on additional evidence in the course of a heated debate and shared with her opponent that she had come to see their point of view. Way to go, Stella!

Jaiya Crowder & Chimmy Ndubueze demonstrated TEAMWORK by hanging up 32 Francophone flags from the ceiling in preparation for Nat’l French Week! Un Grand Merci!

Kennedy Laguerre demonstrated COURAGE by dressing up for Halloween even though his advisory did not have a theme. Way to go, Kennedy!

DEANS DAILY DOWNLOAD 10.31.25

Mrs. Moyer and Dean Holyer would like to thank Kaylee Dobbins, Ava Dovi, Parker Powell, Anya Joshi, Viola Knosby, Jacob Meadows, Turner Bruderick, Charlie Zacharelli, and Will Petrosky for their willingness to help us learn more about the transition from 8th to 9th grade at Cannon.  Their respectful and thoughtful insights were valuable and will lead to good conversations among the faculty.  Thanks for giving up your lunch to join us!

Thank you to Amara Cashwell and Penelope Conklin for demonstrating COURAGE, TEAMWORK, and KINDNESS during Spanish class by volunteering to get the objects requested by the teacher. Your actions showed not only your learning and engagement but also helped your classmates visualize, participate, and re-engage in the lesson. Thank you for your positive example!

Blair Henderson and Sophia Baise showed TEAMWORK when they helped pick up some gear after Caoch Pasut’s Leadership Lunch. Bravo!!!

Amara Cashwell, Chimmy Ndubueze, and Connor Seay demonstrated KINDNESS when they walked by and noticed that Mme. Nguyen needed help emptying paint water cups, and washing all the paint brushes after the French Club meeting. They went above and beyond and did it at the start of their drop! I so appreciated the extra hands! 🙂

Tanner Green earned a Core Value for RESPECT. While exiting the class, he pushed in several chairs and picked up after his classmates. Way to go, Tanner!

Malcolm Musinguzi and Richelle Syer were so KIND when they transported a precious item from a teacher’s car into the building for her. Thank you!

Cleo Neal earned a Core Value for COURAGE today by being an active participant in her class. She was fully engaged and willing to ask questions when she was unsure. Way to go!

Taylar Gordon demonstrated COURAGE by courageously delivering an inspiring speech during a class meeting.

Jaiden Thompson showed incredible COURAGE in being the first to speak up in student life and sharing with the whole group. You are a leader, and you added so much to our learning together. Thank You, Jaiden!!!

Congratulations to Emmi Coppa, Arija Dreiman, Lizzy Loveland, Sylvia Romley, and Aria Shinde. They ran a tasty bake sale to benefit the Women’s Empowerment Club, where women (and men, too!) foster a community in which women uplift and support one another. What an admirable demonstration of PASSION!

Amelia Gamble, Lucy Handler, and Rumaisa Syed earned a Core Value in Courage for coming to ask questions about the class and how to improve!

Camauri Davis and Clark Hudson earned a Core Value for Kindness by bringing in treats to celebrate their advisory mates’ birthdays!

Kaylee Subasic demonstrated TEAMWORK when she helped out a classmate who had been absent for a couple of class periods. Way to go Kaylee!

Trent Loggins demonstrated RESPECT when waiting to hold the door open for a staff member and then for a lower school student. Thank you, Trent, for being aware, choosing to stop to help others, and being a great example for a younger student.
