Anne McDermott demonstrated TEAMWORK when she agreed to help resolve a printer issue for the Yearbook class. We appreciate you, Anne!. You are much more tech-savvy than Dean Zelaya!

Malcolm Musinguzi and Richelle Syer were so KIND when they transported a precious item from a teacher’s car into the building for her. Thank you!

Cleo Neal earned a Core Value for COURAGE today by being an active participant in her class. She was fully engaged and willing to ask questions when she was unsure. Way to go!

Taylar Gordon demonstrated COURAGE by courageously delivering an inspiring speech during a class meeting.

Jaiden Thompson showed incredible COURAGE in being the first to speak up in student life and sharing with the whole group. You are a leader, and you added so much to our learning together. Thank You, Jaiden!!!

Grogan Kelley showed COURAGE in sharing out loud during student life, giving us all another example to learn from together. We appreciate your meaningful contributions. Thank you, Grogan!

Madison Drayton demonstrated RESPECT in her thoughts, collaboration, and actions during a document based question workshop in US History. Way to go Madison!

Cayden Fox demonstrated TEAMWORK when he created a Blooket for a review test on geography and vocabularly and shared it with his classmates after getting teacher approval. Way to go, Cayden!

Teagan Jaffe earned a Core Value for COURAGE by utilizing her resources and coming by to ask questions about a class assignment.

Jackson Laws and Ethan Safrit showed KINDNESS when they stayed late after class to help rearrange desks.

Kate Martin and Mia Valencia demonstrated RESPECT by giving advice to freshmen on how to apply for Winterm.

Lauren Childress, Ava Hobart, and Jaiden Thompson showed COURAGE and TEAMWORK when they showed up support our Community Visioning Day – engaging with our parents and helping us plan the vision for our school over the next five years. Congratulations to Emmi Coppa, Arija Dreiman, Lizzy Loveland, Sylvia Romley, and Aria Shinde. They ran a tasty bake sale to benefit the Women’s Empowerment Club, where women (and men, too!) foster a community in which women uplift and support one another. What an admirable demonstration of PASSION!

Amelia Gamble, Lucy Handler, and Rumaisa Syed earned a Core Value in Courage for coming to ask questions about the class and how to improve!

Camauri Davis and Clark Hudson earned a Core Value for Kindness by bringing in treats to celebrate their advisory mates’ birthdays!

Kaylee Subasic demonstrated TEAMWORK when she helped out a classmate who had been absent for a couple of class periods. Way to go Kaylee!

Skyler Thurman demonstrated KINDNESS when she lent a piece of technology to another student in need. We appreciate you, Skyler!

❄️Winterm fair today during Student Life ❄️

Trent Loggins demonstrated RESPECT when waiting to hold the door open for a staff member and then for a lower school student. Thank you, Trent, for being aware, choosing to stop to help others, and being a great example for a younger student.

Isabella Westmoreland consistently shows KINDNESS each day.  Thank you, Isbella, for being a quiet force of kindness by helping classmates, providing warm greetings in the hallways and simply caring for others in the Cannon community!

9th graders Bella Dryden and Jack Stewart organized and collected 20 devices that were restored to factory settings and donated to people in need.

Ethan Safrit and J.J. Stoudmire, and Audrey Harper all assisted a teacher by volunteering to lend their computers for a class activity. Thank you all for your KINDNESS!

Jessie Wrenholt, Sarah Dinges, Mia Wheeldon, Annabelle Eaton, Canon Diana, and Liam Waite all displayed TEAMWORK when they immediately jumped into action to help a teammate find a lost item.

Jackson Drexel demonstrates KINDNESS daily in English class, and on Friday he showed exceptional COURAGE by joining a new discussion group with students he didn’t know well to share personal narratives. Your willingness to step outside your comfort zone, Jackson, made everyone feel more included—thank you!

Harlowe Miller showed KINDNESS and TEAMWORK when she made a detailed notes organizer for an absent classmate.

Did you know Malcolm Musinguzi is one of the best ever?! He shows KINDNESS every morning by going out of his way to say hello to a teacher, and it brightens her day!
