Our Black Student Affinity Group hosted its annual breakfast yesterday to honor the work and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Thank you to all who helped plan and to those who attended.

Ben O’Hara, Aditi Myana, and Hannah Wittwer all demonstrated PASSION for our Cannon School Brainy Yaks by helping as mentors. They helped the team make it to the top 1% of all North Carolina teams (out of 500), securing a place in one of the 2024 World Championship Events. This is a significant accomplishment!

The project, ExpressEd, won a major award for innovation, showcasing the exceptional skills and creativity of our team. Additionally, our robot’s performance placed us among the top contenders, highlighting our technical expertise. Way to go, Cannon School!
