TODAY!!!

TODAY!!!

For those interested in working with Lower School students, this is an opportunity for you!  On April 19, Lower School will be hosting our annual Grandparents and Special Friends Day from 9:00-11:30.  While most students have a special visitor that day, not all do.

We are looking for Upper School students who could partner with students who do not have a visitor and engage in a variety of activities throughout the morning.  You will be partnering with a student or for classroom activities, cookies/lemonade, and a photo booth memento!  Please reach out to Mrs. Fox (mfox@cannonschool.org) as soon as possible if you want in on this amazing opportunity!

We are also in need of students to help stand in the hallways and serve as a guide for grandparents to find rooms or to answer general questions.  We will have a short meeting to cover these details closer to the date.

Thank you for being interested in Cannon School’s Cars and Coffee 2024, presented by Greg Watson and Balin Surface! The event will take place at Cannon School on Saturday, March 30th, at 10:00 AM. If you are planning to attend our event, please fill out a short form using the QR code above or on the poster. We’re excited for you to join us for a morning of automobiles and new connections, as well as a coffee truck! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact BSurface@cannonschool.org.

ENDS TODAY!!!

Students:  If you are interested in hosting a fundraiser, including collecting products, you must receive prior approval.  Please fill out this form, print it, and turn it into Mrs. Weakland.

We’ve LOVED seeing so many of you in the Academic Resource Center (The ARC) this year! As we approach the final trimester of the school year, we want to ensure 606 continues to be a consistent place to be productive. Please keep in mind The ARC space is a designated academic workspace. It is open to students during drops, lunch, Office Hours, after school, and/or with the permission of their classroom teacher. You should use 606 for the following purposes:

  • To attend a scheduled or drop-in academic coaching appointment;
  • To work on academic tasks independently and quietly;
  • To work on academic tasks in a small group quietly;
  • As an alternate space to meet with teachers and/or tutors.

 You should NOT use 606 as a place to gather socially (lunch is the ONLY exception!). You will be asked to relocate if you are disruptive and/or not engaging in academic work of some kind, and, moving forward, 606 will be closed when there is no adult supervision. Thank you for adhering to these guidelines, so we can maintain the integrity of The ARC space!
