Mrs. Huffman’s B Block World History Class: Andre Dahan, Cassidy Goff, Rachel Harris, Ann Fisher Lindsay, Katie McClanahan, Emma Montgomery, Davis Nelson, Donovan Patterson, Dom Pelucio, Will Schmitt, James Sirois, Izzy Sofio, Hannah Stewart, Christina Stylianou, Klee Wilson, Jack Workman, and Eva Zafari all demonstrated INTEGRITY when their study hall proctor did not appear in Foundation Hall and the entire class stayed there and worked quietly.  Way to go, guys! I’m so proud of you all!

Rai Swick demonstrated PASSION when she collected all of the information about athletics, core values, etc. and then entered it into the database for House Animus!

Timmy Hennigan showed KINDNESS when he emptied the recycling bin in Ms. Trojan’s room. Outstanding work, Timmy!!!

Dante Lowe demonstrated TEAMWORK when he played with the US and MS bands at the band concert! The MS bass clarinet player had the flu! Adaptive expert AND CV!! Double duty!!

Dara Tokunboh demonstrated KINDNESS when she allowed a classmate to jump ahead of her in line to talk to a teacher.

Caitlin Brewer demonstrated KINDNESS when she voluntarily filled out an exam worksheet for a fellow advisee who was absent.  Thanks Caitlin!

Christina Stylianou demonstrated INTEGRITY when she asked a classmate to not discuss a test she had not taken yet.  Way to go, Christina!

Brianne Underwood demonstrated COURAGE by publicly standing up for a friend.  Give Brianne a huge Cougar Growl!  GRRR!

Meghan Hendry demonstrated KINDNESS when she rehung all the papers that had fallen from her advisor’s wall overnight. She did it without being asked, incredibly sweet young lady!

Tommy Chepke and Michael Pope showed KINDNESS when they helped a fellow student lift some heavy boxes for the pet supply drive.  Give them a high-five when you see them!

Mr. Andy Macdonald demonstrated TEAMWORK and KINDNESS when he returned to the cafeteria after the pancake lunch to help clean up.  Thank you, Mr. Mac!

Sally Fowler demonstrated TEAM WORK when she took notes during a review game while everyone else was playing around and then formalized them and sent them out to everyone for studying tonight for our test tomorrow. What a rock star!!!

Michael Pope demonstrated PASSION when he chose to stay back after school to design a more sophisticated version of an advanced, college-level lab with his teacher, which was then successfully performed by the entire class the next day.

Great job!!!!

US Dean’s Core Values

Jordan Lauher, Cassidy Goff, and Hannah Stewart demonstrated incredible PASSION on their own and without any instructions from adults when Mr. Diskin was late arriving to Christmas in Davidson, they found all the appropriate promotional materials stored under the table, displayed the materials and give-away candy canes nicely, ran the extension cords (also stored under the table) to the power supply behind the booth, set up the new portable lighting (which we haven’t used in the past), decorated the booth with holiday decorations, and were all set and ready to meet with people before the 6:00 start.  These three incredible student ambassadors deserve a huge Cougar Growl for their initiative and efforts!  GRRR!

Erin Norton demonstrated KINDNESS by cleaning her teacher’s board just to be nice!  Thanks Erin!

Jacqueline de Gorter demonstrated TEAMWORK when she shared a helpful study link with all of her classmates.  Thanks Jacqueline!

Jake Stewart and Evan Wimbish demonstrated RESPECT by carrying bags in for their teacher.  Way to go, guys!

David Shaw demonstrated KINDNESS when he offered to throw a bunch of plastic bottles from a trash can into the correct recycling cans.  Give David a high-five!

Mr. Coggins demonstrated kindness when he donated $10 for a Project Wrap-In shirt, but stated that he did not want the shirt for himself and to give a free shirt instead to another student.
