Shout out to Henry Dryden for showing R-E-S-P-E-C-T  — cue Aretha Franklin 🎤 — for his classmates by writing a thoughtful card to those celebrating a birthday!

Jade Adams earned a Core Value for R-E-S-P-E-C-T — again… cue Aretha Franklin — for letting a teacher know about a mistake in a resource document for her and her peers.

Keep that Aretha Franklin energy going because… Taylar Gordon ALSO displayed R-E-S-P-E-C-T when she picked up trash in the hallway that did not belong to her. She truly embodies what it means to be a respectful member of the Cannon community!

Special thanks to some of our writing lab peer tutors, Ada Hicks, Gabbi Coppa, Annabelle Eaton, Cole Frei, and Hope Cooksey, who came Tuesday during office hours (even though they weren’t scheduled) because we had an extra-large crowd of students seeking help on essays. Thanks for dropping everything in the name of TEAMWORK,  (And thank you to Mr. Kulp, Mr. Fisher, and Mrs. Holston who also staffed the lab!)
 
Grace Ryan earned a Core Value for INTEGRITY when she spoke to her teacher about a grading error.
 
Laura Ann Bowen displayed TEAMWORK by acting as our advisory spokesperson as she presented thank you cards.

Liam Sullivan demonstrated COURAGE by going above and beyond in the Strength & Conditioning center. He saved us from a disaster by alerting us that our recovery drink machine was leaking. It may sound small, but it could have been a disaster and we are very grateful for his COURAGE to speak up about it. Some would have just kept walking but he didn’t.
 
Liam Condon, Gabbi Coppa, Cole Frei, Abby Guilfoyle, Jessie Laws, Braden Polsky, KG Smith, Lily Wittgraefe, and Nate Woolwine all demonstrated KINDNESS by talking with freshmen at their College Counseling welcome and sharing some wisdom and experience.
